Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, is just around the corner!

We are raising funds for hay/feed/supplements for our nine Sanctuary horses.

Because all but one are between 20 and 30, they need additional feed and supplements to ensure their health and comfort. And with winter upon us, it's important they have hay available 24/7, as their digestive system is their key to warmth. Also, three of our Sanctuary horses will need additional feed to maintain their optimum weight during below zero temperatures.

Our Sanctuary horses were taken in to ensure their last years were free of expectation other than their necessary cares, and their health and well-being are our primary focus. Horses form relationships just as humans do and their relationships with their herd mates and humans are a large part of their well-being. Knowing that they will no longer be moved around from owner to owner reduces their stress and lets them live in peace and comfort.

A donation of:

$100 will feed 2 horses for a month;

$70 will provide senior feed for 1 horse for a month;

$40 will pay for a month's worth of arthritis supplement for 1 horse.

​

Any amount, no matter how small, will join with others' to ensure our Senior horses' health and well-being.
